Previous owners tried many different ideas including broasted chicken, pizza, subs and even a car hop. Celebrating our 14th Season MEET THE OWNERS Owners Jason Risner & Gabrielle Petrina have been "SCOOP-ing" since 2010. Jason is your definition of a "home-town" guy. At the age of fifteen, Jason's summer job was working at a local restaurant. Where you ask? Here at SCOOPS! After graduating from Millersville University with two Bachelors Degrees, Jason served as a manager at the Hamilton Club of Lancaster for over 10+years. Having returned to his roots, Jason has come full-circle as the owner of SCOOPS Ice Cream & Grille. Jason and Gabrielle met through the restaurant. Together they grew the business, as the operators for the first 10 seasons, by adding four trucks. In 2020, they were able to purchase the business and the miniature golf course cementing their place in Mountville. Both Jason and Gabrielle believe that the secret to a successful business, starts with the community. SCOOPS plays an active role in the community & is a proud sponsor for many local organizations & events.
